Harry Black

Harry Black, CMA, FCMA founded F.H. Black & Company in 1990 and was instrumental in growing FHB into the largest full service CMA public accounting firm in Manitoba. As Managing Partner of FHB, Harry leads the strategic growth and development of the firm by providing a full service package to U.S. and Canadian clients including training, consulting and assurance services.

Harry is a key contributor to the Society of Management Accountants. He has been involved in the implementation and development of the Standards for Members in Public Accounting in Manitoba, is a member of the CMA Canada National Task Force for Public Accounting, past Auditor for CMA Canada - Manitoba Partner, the Chair of the CMA Manitoba Public Accounting Task Force and a reviewer for CMAs in Public Accounting for the past 14 years.

Harry is a dedicated volunteer within the community and is very active in the Canadian Boxing Community. Previously, he was a Canadian team member for the 1980 Olympics and the Canadian Middleweight Champion in 1980/81. As President of the Pan Am Boxing Club, a non-profit volunteer run organization, Harry oversees the operations of the Club and is head coach and trainer for several professional and amateur athletes.
